The Family and Child Centre has been guiding new parents through their birth and parenthood journeys for almost 40 years! Initially under the stewardship of pregnancy and birth expert, Tina Otte and now owned and run by certified childbirth educator, birth and post-natal doula and maternity Hospital Manager, Jude Polack.
With it's qualified and experienced team of nurses, midwives, pregnancy yoga experts, and counsellors, the Centre offers you guidance, support and education on all things pregnancy, birth and newborn!
Bringing a new life into the world is a miraculous, joyous, wondrous and challenging experience for both expectant parents. The courses provided by Jude Polack, Tina Otte and the team of professionals at the Family and Child Centre will enrich your understanding of the process and issues surrounding childbirth and caring for and feeding a newborn.
One of the biggest challenges of our current generation is fear of whether we will be "good enough" parents. We will equip you with plenty of knowledge and skills.With understanding comes confidence in your ability to rock parenthood.

Our courses and baby clinic run from our beautiful studio, focus on helping you explore your own feelings about birth and parenting, as well as equipping you with accurate, evidence based information, right from early pregnancy to the toddler years.
